The deal, in plain words

These terms cover Gravel's website plans. By creating an account or paying for a plan, you agree to them. "We" means Gravel, a business based in Virginia, USA. "You" means the business that signs up.

What you get

Pebble ($99 a month): your website, built and hosted for you; Google profile optimization; AI searchability; and your own dashboard to change your site's colors, words and photos.
Gravel ($199 a month): everything in Pebble, plus missed-call text-back, leads texted to your phone and Google review requests. Texting turns on once the phone carriers approve your business number, which is up to them and usually takes a week or two after your site goes live.

Prices are in US dollars and don't include any sales tax that applies.

Billing and cancelling

Plans are month to month, with no contract. You're billed at the start of each month of service through Stripe.
Cancel anytime from your dashboard or by texting us. You won't be billed again, and your site stays up through the end of the month you've paid for. We don't refund partial months.
You can switch between Pebble and Gravel whenever you like; the change shows up on your next bill.
If a payment fails, we'll let you know and give you time to fix it before your site is paused.

Your domain and your content

Your domain is yours. If you leave, we'll point it wherever you want.
Your content is yours: your business name, logo, words and the photos you send us. You let us use them to build, host and show your website and Google profile. Please only send photos and text you have the right to use.
We may show your live website as an example of our work. Tell us if you'd rather we didn't.

Using Gravel fairly

Don't use your website, dashboard or texting tools for anything illegal, misleading or abusive, to send messages people didn't ask for, or to try to get into accounts or systems that aren't yours. We can pause a site that breaks these rules, and we'll tell you why.

What we promise, and what we can't

We work to keep your site fast, secure and online around the clock, and we fix problems quickly. No service can promise it will never go down, and we can't either.
A good website, Google profile and quick replies help people find and reach you, but we can't guarantee a number of calls, jobs, reviews or a Google ranking.
To the extent the law allows, our total responsibility for any claim about the service is limited to what you paid us in the three months before it, and we're not responsible for indirect losses such as lost profits.

The rest

We can stop offering a plan or end the service with 30 days' notice. You'd only pay through the last month you used.
If we change these terms, we'll update them here and email customers before a change that matters takes effect.
Virginia law applies to these terms.
